Check out these pictures of our recent boxes:

Here’s two weeks ago: Pickup No.13. Mid September and we’re enjoying green beans, parsley, sweet peppers, garlic, swiss chard, carrots, tomatoes, scallions, broccoli and water melon.
And further back in August, this is pickup No.10. Sweet peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, crookneck squash, green beans, water melon, basil, more tomatoes, golden beets and onions. Wow!

It’s re-assuring to see that despite this summer’s severe drought, we were able to produce a good haul of veggies. We’ve been flooded with positive feedback about the size and variety of our weekly boxes this year and it has provided the much needed boost of enthusiasm to keep at this for another season.

We even pulled off nice spring boxes, although a little late, without any help from our newly erected greenhouse, which wasn’t ready on time. It is ready now, though. It’s full of kale and other greens for the fall and it’ll be full of early tomatoes by next June.

Pickup No.2 featured lettuce, radish, scallions, pink turnips, shelling peas, head lettuce, garlic scapes swiss chard and parsley

We’ve got a few more surprises left up our sleeves still. After all, there’s still a quarter of the season left!

New, easier sign-up process

Since CSA is such a great way for us to keep gardening, and since we’re starting to really get the knack of putting together a nice weekly box, we’ve decided to take our service up a notch. This time around, you’ll be able to sign-up using Farmigo.

Clicking this link will let you choose your box type and pickup location. You’ll be invoiced automatically and the login you create will allow you to track your balance at any time. You’ll also be able to see when and where your next pickup is.

Go ahead and take a look. There are a few different options this year and if you sign up before November 1st, you’ll get 10% off.
