First CSA Pickup Moved Back One Week

Thanks for taking the time to go over the pickup list. Looks like we’ve got all our books in order. However, since the last email was sent the weather has dried up and we’ve been able to get a better look at the crops hiding under row cover. We got to thinking those beets really could get a little bigger… 😉

It was a hard decision, but we’ve decided to push back the CSA start date in order for the crops in the garden to have one more week of sunshine. The warm sunny days interspersed with rainy evenings are doing wonders for plant growth and vigor. We feel it will help us make the start of the season that much better for everyone.

We apologize for this last minute change in plans, but we feel it’ll be worth the wait!

CSA Pickups Do Not Start Next Week
Please verify the following list

So what does this mean exactly? It means that the first pickup week has been cancelled, and that an extra week will be added at the end of the season.

I’ve updated the pickup list with the new dates to make sure we’re all on the same page. There are no changes for week 2 people.
